Phlebotomy National Certification Course
This course requires a total of 90 clock hours (40 laboratory hours) that can be applied as 7 credit hours for the Associate Degree Program of Medical Assistant.
Phlebotomy Course General requirements are:
– HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE, OR POSSESS A GED (OR EQUIVALENT).
– 20 HOURS OF PRACTICAL (CLINICAL) TRAINING.
– SUPERVISED PROOF OF 50 VENIPUNCTURES AND 10 SKIN PUNCTURES.
– OBTAIN A SATISFACTORY EVALUATION AT THE END OF THE COURSE
– (PASS WRITTEN EXAM).
For Licensed Esthetician course is one day more to learn the process of platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrina (PRF). Participants should have an active facial specialist license or cosmetology license.
