The Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Course at Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School prepares students for an essential role in the healthcare industry. Phlebotomy Technicians are responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing, transfusions, donations, or research. Phlebotomy National Certification Course
This course is part of the Medical Assistant AS program, and after this class, 7 credit hours will be applied to the students. Graduate as Medical Assistant may applied for the National Certification examination once this class is done

(PRP) PHLEBOTOMY FOR ESTHETICIAN
The state of Florida does not allow the use of microneedling to apply any type of medication, drug or any other substance, except tattoo pigment, by an esthetician. Applicants from any other state or country should review the regulations in their respective areas.
Estheticians need a phlebotomy certification to collect and process a blood sample to apply a platelet-rich plasma procedure as part of facial skin rejuvenation treatment. In Florida, an esthetician must have a medical assistant or registered nurse license to perform PRP mesotherapy or any procedure using microneedling devices, under supervision of a licensed medical doctor.
Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School offers a Medical Assistant program to become a medical esthetician assistant. Medical Assistant Program has include a module of Phlebotomy.
For those who are already phlebotomists and want to improve their knowledge and skills or obtain the National Certification, we offer the Examination Preparation course in Phlebotomy to apply and obtain satisfactory results in the National Certification. Participants can also learn the technique and application of platelet rich plasma preparation.
