The Objective of Electrology Program at Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School is designed to train students in permanent hair removal by electrolysis and permanent hair reduction by laser.
Electrology program include the study of the Electrolysis modalities for permanent hair removal with the use of thermolysis, galvanic and blend.
The objective of this course is to prepare the participant to effectively perform electrolysis and laser hair removal treatment.

Electrology Program
The electrology program and its objective has been approved by the commission for Independent of Education in Florida and the Electrolysis Council. Graduate of this course can apply for the license as electrologist, after obtain a satisfactory result in the Board examination.
This Electrology program is taught online and face-to-face. Participants can apply for one of this modalities. Online classes is only for the theoretical part of the course to be completed in 120 hours, practices (200 hours) must take in -person.The course is taught in 320 hours divided into 120 theoretical hours and 200 practical hours.
Electrolysis and Laser Program Objective
The Objective of Electrology Program is designed to give the students a thorough entry-level preparation to work in the field of Electrology.The State of Florida requires Electrologist to be licensed to work in the field.
The Objective of the Electrology Program will be discussed on this page, as well as other information related to the program. The electrolysis course is a diploma certification course approved by the Commission for Independent Education and the Board on Electrolysis in Florida. This course is 320 hours that students can take online or face-to-face (in person). The theoretical class is taught for 120 hours and another 200 hours are practical.
Students must pass the Board exam with satisfactory results to apply for a Florida electrolysis license. Students will learn, as part of the course, laser hair removal techniques with two different laser devices.
Objective of the Electrolysis Program
The objective of this program is designed to train students in permanent hair removal by electrolysis. Electrolysis courses are designed to give the students a thorough entry-level preparation to work in the field of electrology.
The modern short wave, blend, and galvanic methods are taught in small classes and students gain hands-on experience through clinical applications.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may apply for the state licensing exam and the national certification testing.

Electrolysis Hands-On
In practice class students will learn the different techniques of electrolysis for permanent hair removal during 200 hours.
In the practic students will practice practical application of all subjects taught and perform various clinical services under the direct supervision of the instructorCoordination Skills with Probe Holder and Forceps

Laser Hair removal is permitted in Florida for those professional with active license and be properly trained in the treatment of laser hair removal. Only MD, DO, APRN, PA and electrologist can be do laser hair removal in Florida.
Among other topics, the objective of the electrolysis and laser course is to give those who do not yet have a license the opportunity to prepare and obtain the certification to apply for the Electrolysis license in Florida and to be able to legally perform laser hair removal.
