Students of Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School’s Microdermabrasion Course will gain a complete understanding of Micro-exfoliation treatments, proper sanitation, safety issues, and proper skin analysis. This course will teach the student how to identify and implement microdermabrasion techniques to assist in the correction of various skin care conditions and teach the student how to individualize treatment practices based on skin type and benefits of corrective skin care for each individualized skin type.

This course is offering in two days for those participants with previous experience in the aesthetic field. Participants from the State of Florida is required the active license in Cosmetology, Full Specialist or Facial Specialist. Participants from other States or countries please check the regulations about the use of aesthetic technique in your respective area.

LEARN THE BASICS TECHNIQUES OF MICRODERMABRASION. Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic technique tha uses a mechanical medium (crystal, fluid or diamond) for exfoliation to remove the outermost layer of the skin, that is composed by dead cells on the Epidermis. Microdermabrasion is a non-chemical, non-invasive procedure that uses a spray of micro-crystals to remove the outermost layer of dry, dead skin cells and reveal younger, healthier-looking skin. Microdermabrasion  encourages the production of a new underlying layer of skin cells with increased levels of collagen and elastin, which further improves the skin’s appearance. Microdermabrasion is considered gentler than dermabrasion. Dermabrasion is a more intensive procedure used to treat deeper facial lines, extreme sun damage, and scars.
