Medical Assistant
Florida Law
According to Florida Law, a Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care management and administrative and clinical procedures and often performs managerial and supervisory functions.
Medical Assistants may undertake multiple duties, including administering basic first aid and assisting physicians with patient examinations or treatments.
Moreover, a medical assistant can operate the office medical equipment and even perform dialysis procedures at the clinic and in the home patients.
As part of the school’s curriculum, our Medical Assistant graduates can become nationally certified in phlebotomy and may perform venipuncture and basic laboratory procedures.
