If you are an International Medical Graduate (IMg), that is also called unlicensed foreign physician and you do not have any active license in Florida, there is a choice to obtain the National Certification of Medical Assistant. The Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School is accepting credits from other Colleges and Universities from those applicants who wish to become a Medical Assistant with an Associate Degree in the United States.
The acceptance of these credits offers the opportunity in the majority of the applicants to obtain the title of Associate in Science as a Medical Assistant AS, in a short time. Our program includes 91 credits to obtain the Associate Degree Diploma and graduates can apply for a National Certification that is accepted in the USA and Canada. Applicants must present their valid transcript and diploma in medical care (doctor, dentistry, nursing and others) and a high school diploma or equivalent, in person at our facility.
