Massage Therapy Program
Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School (FMAIS), new name of Florida Medical College, offers the Massage Therapy Associate Degree Program, approved by the Commission for Independent of Education in Florida, and the Florida Board of Massage Therapy.
Graduate from this program must apply for Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB).
To obtain the Associate Degree Diploma in Massage Therapy, students must achieve 90.5 credit hours, 24 credits of which are from general education that award the associate degree in science.
Our Associate Degree Program requires 90.5 credit hours.
1. - Massage Therapy Associate Degree Program
Applicants from the State of Florida require at least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED). Those from other countries with the equivalent of high school must validate the Diploma or transcript with an authorized agency in the USA.
Massage therapist without Associate Degree and want to becomes Massage Thjerapy Associate Degree in Science must present active license and official transcripts. The 75% of transcripts is accepted.
Applicants from other States, Countries or Schools.
Applicants from other states is accepted. Credits are accepted from other schools with prior evaluation.
Applicants at any international school must submit translated and certified documents from a recognized institution.
Massage Therapist from other countries should present Diploma and transcript to define the hours or credits that will be acepted. Students from other school is accepted with official transcripts.
