Laser Hair Removal

30 CLOCK HOURS. Certification Course. Twenty hours theory and ten hours practice. TUITION $1500.00.

This program provides a laser hair removal certfication approved by the Electrolysis council of Florida.The 3-day training course contains didactic session and the hands-on session. Participants will combine practical and clinical aspects of laser hair removal procedures, with proven strategies to successfully integrate them into their practice or a new medical spa. At the end of the courses the students will be qualified to perform laser hair removal. Moreover they will have an understanding of: Rationale for Treatment Parameter Selection, Patient Selection Criteria, Contraindications and Risks of the Treatment and Treatment Protocols. Participants will be equipped with the ability to work on clients seeking a more form of hair reduction, and be trained to perform Laser Safety.

Body Wrapping license

12 HOURS. Two days course

This program is designed to train participants in the art and science of the application a wrap around the body to bring a healthy process to the client’s skin. In the state of Florida to become a body wrapper licensed practitioner is required complete a courses at least with two days training and individual should be qualified for initial registration as a body wrapper. Florida Medical College is a Florida approved provider School by the Board of Cosmetology of Florida.

Phlebotomy Certification

60 HOURS. Some previous requirements are needed.

This program is designed to prepare participants to perform basic point of care testing, such as blood glucose levels prepare blood, urine and other specimens for testing, evaluate patients’ ability to withstand procedure and draw blood from patients and blood donors. Through our practice curriculum students will be prepared to collect blood by performing venipuncture in appropriate and safety ,manner. Electrocardiograph Technician

60 HOURS. Some previous requirements are needed.

This course prepares student to perform EKG, that is a test to evaluate the electrical activity of the heart through small electrode patches attached to the body. As a EKG technician you may administer electrocardiograms (EKG) or prepare patients for Holter or ambulatory monitoring. Florida Medical College is an approved provider School by the National Healthcare Association to obtain the National Certification as EKG Technician after you pass a National Test.

There are some courses that require an exam to obtain National Certification and others such as Nursing Dermatology that requires a Board exam and a record of practice hours to obtain credentials.
