Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School

Welcome to Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School. Create your future by selecting one of the Associate Degree Programs for you. Our licensed school in Florida offers Diplomas and College Programs. College Programs require credits that students must reach to graduate in any of them.

In the Medical Assistant Program, Foreign Medical Graduates or International Medical Graduates (IMG) with their Diploma and respective transcript are accepted.

Students or graduates from other schools are accepted. Foreign graduates in the fields of Medicine, Massage, and Pharmacy are welcome.  The school recognizes 75% of your credits after evaluating your academic records and if the applicants come from a licensed or accredited institution.

Associate Degree

Associate Degree Programs are offered in Medical Assistant, Massage Therapy, and Pharmacy Management Program. Participants must obtain the credit hour required for each program to graduate as the Associate in Science. An associate  program is an undergraduate academic program designed to provide students with a foundation in a specific field of study or a general education in various disciplines. 

The curriculum of an associate degree program consists of a combination of general education courses and courses specific to the chosen field of study. General education courses inner College cover subjects such as English composition, mathematics, psychology, human biology and effective communications. Field-specific courses such as Massage, Pharmacy and Medical Assistant focus on developing knowledge and skills relevant to the chosen discipline.

Associate Degree Programs

Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School (FMAIS) offers associate degree college programs with three associate of science degree programs: Medical Assistant, Massage Therapy, and Pharmacy Management. All of these programs are approved by the Commission Independent of Education of Florida. Students who graduate from these programs can apply for licenses in Florida, and the case of Medical Assistants can obtain a National Certification with the NHA. 

  • Medical Assistant Program is designed to prepare students to work as Medical Assistants in places such as Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Medical Group Practices, Home Health Agencies, and Medical Offices. Graduate as Medical Assistant also can specialize in different areas of medicine and aesthetics, such as Medical Assistant Dermatology, Medical Assistant Dermatology, Medical Assistant Aesthetician, and Medical Assistant Laser Professional.
  • The Massage Therapy Program is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools required to successfully qualify for employment as an entry level massage therapist. Whether it is a day spa, physician’s office, health club, resort, hospital, chiropractic office or in private practice. Applying techniques in problems such as neck, back, arms, legs, sciatic pain, stress reduction, muscle spasms and relaxation. Graduate students are prepared for the State of Florida State Board/National Certification Examination for licensure as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
  • The Pharmacy Management program is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills required to successfully qualify for employment as an entry level Pharmacy Manager. This program will prepare its graduate to work in a pharmacy setting, hospital, clinical or retail pharmacy.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

To Graduate in any of the Associate Degree Programs, students must complete all hours required for each program. A passing grade of at least 75% must be met in all the necessary subjects. Students meeting the above requirements will be awarded a degree for their completed program of Associate in Science or a Diploma for Non-degree programs, whichever is applicable. No diplomas or transcripts will be released to students owing a financial obligation to the school.

CAREER SERVICE:

The Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School cannot guarantee employment for its graduates. However, the school’s curriculum has been developed to produce well-qualified graduates. The Placement Office will assist the student in finding available positions, connect them with a local employer, and prepare them for a job interview. The office will help students how to write their resumes and cover letters.

Florida Medical & Aesthetic International School (FMAIS)  is licensed by the Commission for Independent Education of Florida, with license # 3765, and approved provided by The Board of Massage, the Board of Pharmacy, and the National Healthcare Association. FMAIS is a recognized Education/Training Program by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board® (PTCB).
